If a country is missing or inactive, it may not appear in those forms.

The list page helps admins manage countries quickly.
From this page, admins can normally:
- review country name
- review country code
- review official name
- review region
- change active status
- open the edit page

How to choose values correctly
Country Name
Use the normal name most admins and users expect.
Example:
Bangladesh
Country Code
Use a short clear code and keep it consistent with the country.
Example:
BD
Country Official Name
Use the full official country name if you want more formal records.
Example:
People's Republic of Bangladesh
Status meaning
- active status: the country can appear in system forms
- inactive status: the country stays hidden from normal selection
This is useful when you do not want to delete an item but also do not want users to select it.
Common mistakes
- creating the same country twice with a slightly different name
- using a country code already used by another country
- putting the country in the wrong region
- deleting a country that may still be needed instead of turning it inactive
- using unclear or non-standard country names

Best practice
- use correct country codes
- keep the region value consistent
- disable unused entries instead of creating duplicate country names
- review country names carefully before saving
- keep the country list clean because it affects other forms
