Currency code field guide​

Important difference​

Currency Code is not the same as Currency.

  • Currency Code stores the base code list, such as USD, EUR, or BTC
  • Currency stores the real send and receive methods used in exchange directions

Common mistakes​

  • creating a currency method before creating its code
  • using unclear custom codes that admins do not understand later
  • disabling a currency code that is still used by live currencies
